Intended Use

This product is used for the qualitative detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in human sputum samples. It is used as an aid in the detections of tuberculosis.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis can invade all tissues and organs of the body, lung infection is the most common, and the main clinical symptoms are prolonged cough and sputum, hemoptysis , chest pain, dyspnea, low or high fever, fatigue, weakness, emaciation, night sweats, etc. Currently, acid-fast staining and mycobacterial culture methods are used for clinical diagnosis of tuberculosis.
